Our house has just been renovated. We have tried to preserve its charm while making sure the comforts are up to American standards. It has four bedrooms (accomodating eight people), a living room with an open kitchen area, and a dining space. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a microwave. There is a TV with a satellite dish upstairs. The downstairs bathroom has a shower, a washer and a dryer. The upstairs bathroom has a tub with a hand-held shower.
The building originally was a farmer's quarters, barns and garage. It was part of my grandmother's estate, of
which I inherited a portion. My portion includes this building, front and back gardens, and a field.
The manor house (which my sister owns)
and the rest of the fields on the estate are not part of the rental, nor is the western part of the building
(left of the fence in the photo),
which is rented all year by a nice family.
